I entered a Reader's Digest photo contest and ended up being connected with a woman in a different part of the country who had been deeply touched by my photo. It was humbling and inspiring to think that a photo that meant a lot to me could also have such an impact on a stranger.”

I shoot with a Canon Rebel T5, all different lenses but my go to is the Sigma 18-300, it hardly ever leaves my camera.
What is your photography niche? Why do you love it?
Landscape, nature, and wildlife. I just love how the same landscapes can offer so many different perspectives depending on time of day and season. I also love capturing nature and wildlife and how unique each encounter is.
What do you love most about photography?
How no photo is ever the same whether it's natural lighting or enhancing the beauty that's already there with editing.
Most of all, sharing it with others.
Any advice for newbies?
Never give up. If photography is your passion, don't doubt it when a photo doesn't turn out how you want it to or if it doesn't speak to someone the same way it does you. If you love it, that's enough!
